Jordan Cole brings easy confidence, curiosity, humor, and a genuine love of music to True Light Radio. He approaches the microphone much the same way he would approach a conversation with someone sitting across the room: relaxed, interested, and never overly concerned with sounding like a “radio guy.” That makes Jordan a natural fit for The Light. Jordan believes some of the best conversations aren’t necessarily about huge subjects. They can start with a song lyric, something funny that happened during the day, a question nobody can quite agree on, or one of those ordinary moments that unexpectedly makes you think. He enjoys finding those connections and inviting listeners into them. Musically, Jordan appreciates the variety within contemporary Christian music. He loves the familiar songs listeners already know by heart, but he’s equally interested in artists pushing the format forward. For him, the common thread isn’t a particular sound—it’s music that feels authentic and has something worth saying. Jordan’s faith comes through in much the same way: naturally. He doesn’t believe every conversation needs to become a sermon, and he isn’t interested in pretending believers have perfect lives or perfect answers. He’d rather talk honestly about faith as something lived in the middle of work, relationships, decisions, victories, mistakes, and ordinary Tuesday afternoons. His humor tends to be observational and good-natured. Jordan is willing to laugh at himself, question things everyone else seems to accept without thinking, and occasionally head down a conversational rabbit hole just to see where it goes.
